T.E.D. Security Service has a training unit which provides training to unarmed security officers. Our officers received both written and practical examinations throughout their training.  During their training, our officers are repeatedly challenged and are required to explain and justify their actions and reactions to the scenarios that are presented to them. T.E.D. Security Service is committed to ensuring our officers are well adjusted, trained, educated, developed and prepared to respond to situations in regards to but not limited to:

  • Investigations & Report Writing
  • Effective Communication
  • Resident, Client, Guest & Employee Interactions
  • Conflict Resolution
  • First Aid, CPR, AED, Blood borne Pathogens, and Biohazard Removal
  • Emergency & Crisis Management
  • Social Media Guidelines
  • Patrolling and Documenting Occurrences
  • Confidentiality

Note: The T.E.D. Security Service also has a course which parallels the unarmed security officer course but at the Supervisory, Managerial and Director levels.

In addition to training, educating and developing our officers in regards to the T.E. D. training curriculum and our Guiding Principles, we also will incorporate training material that is specific to your property, your leadership’s mission, etc.  If so desired, our training unit will train, educated and develop your officers strictly on the materials you provide or specific areas of focus as per your directive.

T.E.D’s Director of Training, Education and Development is highly qualified and specializes in training and developing unarmed security officers, supervisors, managers and directors  in regards to, but not limited to:

  • Hospitality security
  • Residential security
  • Special event security
  • Investigations & Report Writing
  • Emergency & Crisis Management
  • Confidentiality

Additionally, our Director of Training, Education and Development is personally involved in each class and provides invaluable insight and information to the participants. Furthermore, each participant is required to be actively involved in the classroom portion of the training. Specifically, participants are strongly encouraged to share their security related experiences, knowledge, and be prepared to give security related presentations to the class. Also, in some instances, participants may be selected to lecture on some security related areas of focus.
